The problem

Short-run, high-reliability DDR5 modules typically force research labs, defense programs, and regional EMS providers into either a full surface-mount factory or multi-week OSAT queues — with limited process control and incomplete die-to-module genealogy.

Our approach

KitFab is a bench-scale, sealed production appliance: load a qualified kit (blank RDIMM PCB, known-good packages, SPD/RCD/PMIC as required), then assemble, reflow, and verify inside one controlled chassis. Flagship SKUs target 64 GB and 128 GB DDR5 RDIMM for EPYC-class platforms. Throughput design target: on the order of 10–15 modules per hour with full quality gates.

Provisional and utility conversion pathways are part of the seed use of funds — moat is integration and process library, not a claim to fabricate DRAM.

Pre-seed and non-dilutive grant pathways may run in parallel. Raise gates in planning materials include working demonstration video, provisional IP filing, letters of intent, and a clear COGS model.

Do you manufacture DRAM?

No. KitFab assembles and verifies modules from blank PCBs and known-good packaged devices. We do not fabricate memory die or print high-speed interconnect.

How is this different from a pick-and-place machine?

Placement is one station. The product is an integrated sealed cell: kit UX, stencil/SPI, place, nitrogen reflow, in-line verification, and genealogy — sized for labs and short-run programs, not million-unit OSAT lines.
